5/18/04 - Front Seat Removal

1.) Adjust the power seat all the way up and to the rear.  Putting the seatback vertical also seemed to help later when removing the seat through the front door.  Also, you may want to remove the headrest, but it's not required.
2.) Remove the plastic covers on the front of the rails.
3.) Under the lower plastic covers, you will find a 6mm allen bolt under each - remove both.
4.) Adjust the power seat all the way forward.
5.) At the back of the rear rails, remove the plastic covers by removing the phillips screw in each.
6.) Manually lift the seat up in the front and disconnect the wiring harnesses
7.) Slide the seat rearwards and slide the connection points out of the rear rail openings.
That's it.  You will get the airbag light on the dash due to the seat's airbag being disconnected.
