New (redesigned) APR Exhaust

Now when you connect APR downpipes to an APR exhaust, you maintain an outside diameter of 2 1/2" and an inside diameter of 2 3/8".  Previously, and in stock form, this connection was a bottleneck at 2".  This is a 41% increase in cross sectional area*.  If you have stock downpipes, or most any other company's downpipes, you can use the reduction piece that is included.

The dual section of the old exhaust was 2 1/4" (OD) and the new one is 2 1/2" (OD):

The inside diameter (ID) of the connection point to the downpipes used to be 2 5/32" and it's now 2 1/2":

Tip Difference:
dsc04813.jpg dsc04811.jpg

* Inside diameter of 2" versus 2 3/8":
Cross sectional area = Pi * (Diameter/2)^2

Old/stock = Pi * (2/2)^2 = 3.14
New = Pi * (2.375/2)^2 = 4.43

% increase = (4.43-3.14)/3.14 = 41%

I have since swapped the testpipes in and have a noticeable HP improvement when combined with APR's testpipe software program.
